PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dopant solution also serving as an oxidizer for providing a conductive composition with high conductivity at a high reaction efficiency; a dopant solution for composing the dopant solution also serving as an oxidizer; the conductive composition with high conductivity; and a solid electrolytic capacitor with high long-term reliability. SOLUTION: The dopant solution for a conductive polymer is composed by including, in 40 mass% or higher concentration, an alkylamine salt or imidazole salt of a benzene-skeleton sulfonic acid having two or more sulfone groups, or a naphthalene-skeleton sulfonic acid having three or more sulfone groups; the dopant solution also serving as the oxidizer for the conductive polymer is composed by mixing the salt with an organic persulfuric acid salt; the conductive composition is obtained by using the dopant solution also serving as the oxidizer; and the solid electrolytic capacitor is composed by using the conductive composition as a solid electrolyte.
