<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt mounting fixture for use in setting a circumferential expandable belt on a two-stage pulley arrangement, including a near-side pulley and a far-side pulley arranged in line in the axial direction, setting the belt being made between the far-side pulley and a second pulley as another one while the span between the far-side pulley and the second pulley is fixed, capable of being embodied in a simple and compact construction and establishing an easy-to-handle property. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The belt mounting fixture 9 is equipped with a cover part 10 to cover the periphery of the near-side pulley 5, a bending guide curved face 11 located on the side nearer to the second rotating direction B than the cover part 10 for bending a V-ribbed belt 4 crossing on the cover part 10 and introduced to the periphery of the far-side pulley 6 to guide the V-ribbed belt 4 to the periphery of the far-side pulley 6, and a projection arranged protruding toward the first rotating direction A to cover the V-ribbed belt 4 crossing on the cover part 10.
