<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt tension adjustment device, which can be easily mounted on a belt transmission mechanism. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The belt tension adjustment device 1 for use in a belt transmission mechanism 100 including a belt 105 suspended over a driving pulley 102 and a driven pulley 104 to adjust the tension of the belt 105 includes: a first rotator 7 which contacts with the stretching side of the belt 105; a second rotator 8 which contact with the loosening side of the belt 105; a connection member 4 which connects the two rotators 7 and 8 with each other while rotatably supporting the two rotators 7 and 8; and a rocking shaft 2 provided on the connecting member 4. The belt tension adjustment device 1 is mounted on a part opposite to a driving shaft 101 of the driving pulley 102 with the two rotators 7 and 8, the connecting member 4 and the rocking shaft 2 being integrated so that the rocking shaft 2 is located concentrically with the driving shaft 101.
