The present invention provides an ultraviolet ray detector which includes nanocrystal quantum dots for ease of detection of ultraviolet ray. The ultraviolet ray detector of the present invention comprises a color conversion unit of which color is converted when irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and a color non-conversion unit which is arranged in the vicinity of the color conversion unit, and which has color that is not converted by the irradiation of ultraviolet rays.
