METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR ADMISSION CONTROLLING IN METROPOLITAN AREA NETWORK

A method, an apparatus and a system for admission controlling in metropolitan area network are provided. The method includes the steps of: converging resource reserve requests from users, wherein the resource reserve requests comprise bandwidth value to be occupied, judging whether the converged total bandwidth value in the resource reserve requests is bigger than a preset bandwidth threshold value of a transmission path or not, controlling to rebuild the transmission path using the identifier ID number of the transmission path that the system distributed before if the converged total bandwidth value is bigger than the preset bandwidth threshold value, wherein the bandwidth value of the rebuilt transmission path is bigger than the converged total bandwidth value in the resource reserve requests and the total bandwidth value is the sum of the converged bandwidth value that transmission data needs to occupy in the resource reserve requests. In the embodiment of the invention, a manner of reserving the ID number of a primary transmission path in order to adjust the bandwidth of the transmission path dynamically is used, so the resource of metropolitan area network is used effectively, transmission service quality is ensured and burden of the network is decreased.
