<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive for effectively cleaning an objective lens without using another member. <P>SOLUTION: An optical pickup is provided with: a lens unit 54 which includes an objective lens 50 condensing light radiated from a light source and a lens holder 52 holding the objective lens; an actuator 56 which drives the lens unit 54 in a tracking direction and a focusing direction; and a stopper 62 which regulates the movable range of the lens unit 54. In cleaning the lens, a servo processor 30 controls the actuator 56, causing the lens unit 54 to collide with the stopper 62.
