<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce acidic ion water when alkali ion water is obtained by electrolysis. <P>SOLUTION: A cation exchange membrane is held between a positive electrode 15 and a negative electrode 16, a channel 21 for passing city water is provided in a path of a cathode side between the negative electrode 16 and the cation exchange membrane 12, an anion exchange membrane 12 is brought close contact with the positive electrode 15, the cation exchange membrane 12 on the positive electrode 15 side is kept in a wet state of permeating H<SP>+</SP>ion and the bubbles of hydrogen gas is formed on the negative electrode 16 and hydroxyl ion OH<SP>-</SP>is not permeated through the cation exchange membrane 12 to suppress the generation of acid ion to reduce the acid ion water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
