<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain smooth opening and closing operation of an air flow control valve by suppressing deformation of a valve shaft caused by deformation of a cylinder head, when the valve shaft of the air flow control valve is arranged which extends from a branch pipe positioned at one end to a branch pipe positioned at the other end in an arranging direction of the branch pipes in an intake manifold having a plurality of branch pipes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the arranging direction of a branch pipe arrangement 10 of the intake manifold, a partition board 27 is provided penetrating the branch pipe arrangement 10, which extend from the branch pipe 10a positioned at one end to the branch pipe 10c positioned at the other end to divide each inside of the branch pipes 10a, 10b and 10c into a plurality of passages. The air flow control valve 23 and the valve shaft 25 are provided on the upstream side of intake air flow relative to the partition board 27, and open and close one of the passages divided by the partition board 27.
