PURPOSE: A plasma lamp is provided to improve the luminous efficiency by using a dielectric wave guide body. CONSTITUTION: A plasma lamp comprises a dielectric wave guide body(110) and a bulb. The dielectric wave guide body comprises at least one body. The body comprises a penetration hole. The external side of the body is coated to a shield layer. The electromagnetic wave resonates by the dielectric wave guide body. The dielectric wave guide body transfers the electromagnetic wave through the inner surface of the penetration hole. The electromagnetic wave is created from the electromagnetic wave radiation source. The bulb comprises a first tube(120) and a second tube(130). The internal space of the penetration hole, the internal space of a first and a second tube are connected to each other.
