PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponics method for performing hydroponics in solid culture medium cultivation through direct addition, as a fertilizer ingredient, of a methane digestive fluid obtained as waste after methane fermentation.

SOLUTION: This hydroponics method for plants includes supplying a nutritious liquid containing a methane digestive fluid diluted to bring an ammonia nitrogen concentration to 20-500 ppm and obtained after methane fermentation to a pumice culture medium 3 imparted with activity to nitrify ammonia nitrogen contained in the methane digestive fluid so as to directly add the methane digestive fluid as a fertilizer ingredient and perform hydroponics in the pumice culture medium.
