<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for protecting network power transmission, which reliably protects a transmission line when an accident occurs in the transmission line connected in a loop form, and also minimizes the range of power failure. <P>SOLUTION: In an apparatus which protects a transmission system that is constituted in a loop form by connecting a plurality of electric stations 11, 12, 13 and 14 each by transmission lines 41, 42, 43 and 44, each electric station, which constitutes a loop-shaped transmission system, is provided with calculating stations 21 and 21a, and a plurality of terminal stations 22, 22a to 24, 24a and two sets of protective systems 60 and 60a that transfer information among them, and even if any station, which constitutes one protective system, becomes abnormal, it can minimize the section of power failure by protecting the transmission line without fail by other protective systems where no abnormal conditions occur. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
