<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric screwdriver with a means which only requires to press a tip of the electric screw driver onto a screw to be automatically activated to rotate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a bit 12 at a tip of a spindle 10 is pressed onto the screw, a spring 5 provided to a rear part of a motor 2 is interlockingly expanded and contracted, and a push button switch 4 is pressed down by an iron core protection cap 6 at the rear part of the motor 2 to power the motor 2 for activation and rotation.
