PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roller capable of not only effectively suppressing hyperpolarization of a conductive agent but also suppressing degradation of a rubber while adopting acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber or epichlorohydrin rubber. SOLUTION: The conductive roller is provided with an elastic layer formed from a rubber composition including: a rubber component (A) comprised of single acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber or a mixture of the acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber and epichlorohydrin rubber; an ion conductive agent (B); and an antioxidant (C).
