PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin an eccentric oscillation type gear device. SOLUTION: This eccentric oscillation type gear device includes: a crankshaft 20 having an eccentric part 20b; one external tooth gear 18 attached to the eccentric part 20b, and rotated in an outer cylinder 12 while meshed with internal teeth interlockedly with rotation of the crankshaft 20; a carrier 14 arranged only in an axial-directional one side of the crankshaft 20 with respect to the external tooth gear 18, and interlocked with the crankshaft 20; and a main bearing 16 arranged between an inner circumferential face of the outer cylinder 12 and an outer circumferential face of the carrier 14, and allowing relative rotation between the outer cylinder 12 and the carrier 14. The main bearing 16 includes a cross roller bearing, and is arranged by one, in a side same to the carrier 14 with respect to the external tooth gear 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
