<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of stably obtaining a non-crosslinked acrylic resin particle with high mono-dispersibility. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the acrylic resin particle includes: a step of forming a suspension containing a liquid droplet of a mixture, in which the mixture 1 containing a monofunctional monomer of a (meth)acrylic acid derivative, having surface tension of 2.0 mN/m or higher with sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate 0.5 wt.% aqueous, and a photoinitiator is dispersed to an aqueous medium containing a surfactant in a form of a liquid droplet 5 produced from a liquid droplet 4 being narrowed at a neck 3 from a slit-like hole 2 through a micro-channel liquid droplet formation apparatus; and a step of obtaining the acrylic resin particle by polymerizing the liquid droplet by irradiating the suspension with UV rays. The apparatus is provided with an intermediate plate for partitioning the mixture and the aqueous medium and provided with a two-stepped through-hole in a thickness direction. A side of the through-hole contacted with the mixture is made to a thin hole 6, and a side contacted with the aqueous medium is made to the slit-like hole. The aqueous medium is fed to the liquid droplet formation apparatus such that a feeding pressure variation ratio becomes 30% or less of an average feeding pressure. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
