<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new printed material loading smudging prevention device for eliminating a limit for the size, thickness, and rigidity of a sheet to be used, and preventing backs of various sheets from being smudged. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The printed material loading smudging prevention device 1 is jointed to a discharge port 56 side of an image forming device 2 to prevent the printed material 57 discharged from the discharge port from being smudged while it is loaded, and includes a plurality of plane shaped receiving members 17 disposed by being laminated in a vertical direction and storing the printed material 57 discharged from the discharge port, receiving member retaining, elevating and lowering members 13, 14 having a function for retaining the plane shaped receiving members 17, a function for forming a clearance between the adjacent plane shaped receiving members 17 in a vertical direction, and a function for elevating and lowering the plane shaped receiving members 17, and an elevating/lowering driving means 40 driving the receiving member retaining, elevating and lowering members.
