<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a heat transfer plate of which the heat exchange efficiency is high and which is easily manufactured, even when at least a part includes a bent pipe for heating medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the heat transfer plate includes: an insertion step of inserting one side of a pipe for heating medium 16 into a first concave groove 8 formed on a lid groove 6 of a base member 2; a lid groove closing step of disposing a lid plate 10 in the lid groove 6 while the other side of the pipe for heating medium 16 is inserted into a second concave groove 15 formed on the rear face 12 of the lid plate 10; and a surface side inflow stirring step of causing a plastic fluid material Q fluidized by friction heat to flow into a first gap part P1 and a second gap part P2 formed around the heat medium pipe 16 by moving a rotary tool 25 for inflow stirring from the surface 11 side of the lid plate 10, wherein at least either the width or the height of a gap K is larger than the outer diameter of the pipe for heating medium 16, wherein the gap K is formed of the first concave groove 8 of the base member 2 and the second concave groove 15 of the lid plate 10.
