The radiation converter (8) has a converter layer for direct conversion of x-ray (R) or gamma radiation in electric loads. Multiple pixel electrodes are provided on a converter layer surface with solder wetting surface formed by a surface of a solder wetting material at a side turned away from the converter layer. The lateral extension of the converter layer is smaller than the lateral total extension of respective pixel electrode. The solder wetting material is gold element.
