<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the characteristics of an ultrasonic transducer and to stabilize flow rate measurement of fluid to be measured. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An acoustic matcher 1 includes a piezoelectric vibrator and is integrated into an ultrasonic transducer for transmitting or receiving ultrasonic waves. and includes porous object 8 and a low void ratio layer 11 which is formed at least on part of the surface of the fluid to be measured and has a voice ratio lower than that of the porous object 8. The low voice ratio layer 11 and the porous object 8 are composed of a ceramic material, and further when using a ceramic green sheet for the low void ratio layer 11, which can be held in a uniform infiltration state without depending on the shape of the porous object 8. Thereby, when the acoustic matcher 1 is used for the ultrasonic transducer, dispersion in the transmission and reception of ultrasonic waves can be reduced and the fluid to be measured can be stably measured.
