<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chicken droppings carbonizing apparatus simply producing carbonized pellets free from malodor or the like, easy in handling and having high fertilizer effect at a low cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The chicken dropping carbonizing apparatus is constituted so that box type containers, in which the pellets prepared by granulating the chicken dropping are contained, are placed so as to be stacked in several stages in a carbonizing oven having a refractory brick-placed floor and an heat insulating material-made inner wall, the inside of the carbonizing oven is heated at 400-600°C to thermally decompose the pellets and the produced gas is completely combusted by a secondary combustion burner and exhausted, for producing the carbonized pellets containing enriched fertilizer components.
