PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling paint composition forming a coating exhibiting excellent antifouling performance against aquatic lives in general, for example, shellfishes such as acorn barnacle, algae and so on, and high safety with dramatically decreased marine pollution; a ship using it; and a process for antifouling an underwater structure, a fishing equipment, and a fishing net. SOLUTION: An antifouling paint composition contains one or two or more selected from lanolin, lanolin fatty acid, lanolin alcohol and a derivative thereof, and contains substantially no repellent which prevents adhesion of marine organisms.
