PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board monitor device mounting structure for greatly enhancing the efficiency of the mounting work for a monitor device to be mounted on the interior surface of a vehicle ceiling. SOLUTION: When the on-board monitor device 1 is to be mounted on the interior surface 2 of the vehicle ceiling, hooks 4a and 4b of a hanger bracket 4 are hitched at a hitching part 5 of a ceiling frame 3 through an opening 12, and the monitor device 1 is hung down rotatably at the ceiling frame 3, which allows eliminating the support of the monitor device 1 under operation. A device side wiring connector 18 of the monitor device 1 hung down at the ceiling frame 3 is connected with a vehicle side wiring connector 20 through the opening 12, and then the monitor device 1 is rotated for fitting a clip 21 of the monitor device 1 in a fit-in hole 22, and the monitor device 1 is secured provisionally. Further the monitor device 1 in the provisionally secured condition is fastened to the ceiling frame 3 by a fastening member, and the monitor device 1 is attached to the ceiling interior surface 2.
