<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die of high cooling efficiency by arranging a cooling medium passage effectively at points to be cooled. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The molding die with a male mold and a female mold clamped to carry out resin molding includes a plurality of lateral holes provided inward from the side face of at least one of the male mold and female mold so as not to intersect inside the mold, and a connection part machined at a mounting surface of the die to connect the plurality of lateral holes and to form the cooling medium passage.
