<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential amplifier having a stable characteristic against a change in voltage level of a common-mode component of an input signal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The differential amplifier includes: a differential amplifier section 11 to generate currents I12, I13 according to a differential-mode component and a common-mode component of an input signal; an in-phase current generator section 13 to generate in-phase currents I1A, I1B according to the common-mode component of the input signal; and a current amplifier section 12 to receive the currents I12, I13 and the common-mode currents I1A, I1B, amplify difference between the currents I12, I13 and the common-mode currents I1A, I1B to be output.
