The present invention relates to a device (10) for protecting a hand from being cut by a sharp tool, said device (10) comprising: a protection portion (12) for covering and protecting the nail part of at least one finger (1); and a fixing portion (14) protruding from one side of the protection portion (12) to fix the protection portion (12) to said at least one finger. The fixing portion (14) has at least one ring (142, 144) for inserting said at least one finger. The device of the present invention protects the finger of the hand of a user holding foodstuffs from a cutting blade when the user holds and cuts the foodstuffs in a kitchen. The present invention has a ring-type fixing portion for fixing the device over the least minimal area to free the rest of the finger for delicate operations. Additionally, the present device can be cleaned easily, thus providing improved hygiene. |
