<p>A method, a system and a device for number conversion are provided. After a Mobile-service Switching Center (MSC) of the visited place for the calling party triggers an intelligent service on a Service Control Point (SCP), the SCP determines that number conversion is needed. The SCP sends a CONNECT message to the MSC. The MSC completes the number conversion according to the number conversion identification in the CONNECT message; or according to the route identification in the CONNECT message, the MSC routes the CONNECT message to a specified MSC and the number conversion is performed by the specified MSC. The method, system and device avoid the limitation to the number length in Customized Application for Mobile network Enhanced Logic (CAMEL) specification.</p> |
