The sliding apparatus of a slide-type portable information device of the present invention comprises: a fixing member that is coupled to a first body and installed between the first body and a second body to slidably couple the first body and the second body; a sliding member that is coupled with the second body and coupled with the fixing body such that it can slide in opening and closing directions; and a descending means for lowering the rear end of the sliding member toward the fixing member such that the sliding member is tilted when the sliding member moves toward the opening direction. In the sliding apparatus of the slide-type portable information device of the present invention, when the second body provided with a display is opened by sliding way from the first body, the second body is tilted toward a user, thereby affording the user a good view of the screen output on the display.
