<p>A system serves to monitor a body exposed to high mechanical or thermal stress. The body has a surface that has at least one groove with two groove lateral walls which are oppositely disposed and adjacent to the surface. An optical waveguide devoid of protective coating, which has a light-guiding core and a casing surrounding it and in which at least one sensor is provided for the optical detection of a measurement variable, is embedded in the groove. The optical waveguide is fixed in place in an area of one of the groove lateral walls, which is adjacent to the surface, by means of at least one caulking.</p> |
