<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for promotion of bone growth, prevention, alleviation and/or treatment of bone/joint disorders, or maintenance of bone health each in mammals; and to provide a method for promotion of bone growth or maintenance of bone health including the use of the composition for maintenance of bone health or prevention, alleviation and/or treatment of bone disorder, or the composition in the manufacture of a nutritional product, supplement, snack confectionery or medicaments, and the administration of an effective dosage of the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The food composition aims at prevention, alleviation and/or treatment of bone disease caused on human beings or pet animals, and contains, as an active component, at least one kind of vegetable or vegetable extract containing a vegetable compound having ability to induce expression of bone-forming protein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
