<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler capable of preventing deterioration of muffling performance due to condensed water. <P>SOLUTION: The muffler includes an exhaust gas passage (22) penetrating a case (21) and a sound absorbing member (30) surrounding a periphery of the exhaust gas passage (22) and enclosed inside the case (21). The exhaust gas passage (22) is provided with a plurality of small holes (22a) open toward the inside of the case (21), and between the exhaust gas passage (22) and the sound absorbing member (30), there is provided a thin film (23) through which liquid does not pass but sound wave does. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
