<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set communication procedures by forming a band pass filter that passes only a desired transmission signal at a receiver, even without knowing the transmission frequency of a signal that indicates the presence of a transmitter. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of conversion signals, obtained by frequency-converting a training signal, having a predetermined frequency difference are combined and transmitted, and on the receiving side, a second conversion signal is generated by frequency-converting a reception signal and shifting it merely by a frequency corresponding to the frequency difference. An adaptive equalizer defines either of the reception signal or the second conversion signal as a reference signal and defines the other signal as an input signal. The adaptive equalizer forms a band-pass filter that passes only the desired signal of a predetermined frequency, even if the frequency of the training signal on the receiving side is unknown. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
