<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric transduction module which suppresses a thermal stress between a thermoelectric transducer and an electrode, and the thermoelectric transducer suited to the same. <P>SOLUTION: The thermoelectric transduction module has: a plurality of thermoelectric transducers composed of a sintered body containing a thermoelectric transduction material and a conductive metal; and a plurality of electrodes, wherein the transducer comes into contact with the electrode, and they are brought into contact with each other without being bonded in at least one portion. The thermoelectric transducer is composed of the sintered body containing the thermoelectric transduction material and the conductive metal, the sintered body is formed of a plurality of layers including: a first layer 301 which exists at one end of the sintered body and includes the thermoelectric transduction material and the conductive metal; and a second layer 302 bonded to the first layer, and a ratio (molar ratio) of the conductive metal to the total quantity (mol) of the thermoelectric transduction material and the conductive metal in the first layer, is higher than a ratio (molar ratio) of the conductive metal to the total quantity (mol) of the thermoelectric transduction material and the conductive metal in the second layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
