When it is decided that the switching of the power distribution mechanism has been completed (step S16: Yes), the CPU of the ECU switches characteristics of the power control mechanism according to the input traveling mode, and when it is decided that a fixed time has passed while switching has not been completed after the instruction of the switching of the power distribution mechanism (step S18: Yes), maintains the characteristics of the power control mechanism to characteristics corresponding to the stored traveling mode (step S12) (step S19).
