PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of freely controlling exposure control values of iris, exposure time and ISO sensitivity, and promptly setting automatic exposure. SOLUTION: The digital camera, including a control means for making the exposure time, the iris value and the ISO sensitivity effective by either manual setting or automatic setting, has such independent switches as: an iris alteration switch for switching the iris setting between the manual setting and the automatic setting; an exposure time alteration switch for switching the exposure time setting between the manual setting and the automatic setting; and an ISO sensitivity alteration switch for switching the ISO sensitivity setting between the manual setting and the automatic setting.
