<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact detecting device for a vehicle and a security device for a vehicle, which can identify whether a contact is artificial or not and can prevent an erroneous detection caused by rain drops or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The security device 10 includes the contact detecting device 11 having a contact part 12, a detection part 13, a reference-detection-pattern setting means 14 for setting a reference-detection-pattern based on a predetermined contact pattern of artificial contact to the contact part, a detection signal identifying means 15 for determining whether the detection signal detected with the detection part 13 and the set reference detection part coincide with each other through the comparison of the detection signal and the detection pattern, and a contact-identification-signal outputting means 16. The security device further includes a locking device 17 and a control unit 18.
