DUST CORE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust core which is improved in high-frequency characteristics and reduced in eddy current loss. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the dust core by press-forming soft magnetic metal particles each having an insulating oxide layer on a surface includes: a magnetic layer green sheet forming step of forming a green sheet using soft magnetic metal particles each having an insulating oxide layer on a surface; an insulating layer green sheet forming step of forming a green sheet using insulating particles; and a press forming step of alternately stacking and press-forming the magnetic layer green sheet obtained in the magnetic layer green sheet forming step or a stacked magnetic layer green sheet obtained by stacking a predetermined number of magnetic layer green sheets at need, and the insulating layer green sheet obtained in the insulating layer green sheet forming step. The method of manufacturing the dust core by heat-treating the stack sheet before press formation and the dust core obtained by the method of manufacturing are provided.
