<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite optical element which is prevented from breaking or cracking without being restricted in shape. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the composite optical element obtained by laminating a polymerizable compound on a base material, provided that the storage elastic modulus at 25°C of the optical element obtained by curing a polymerizable compound is defined as E' (25deg) and its storage elastic modulus at 100°C is defined as E' (100deg), E' (100deg)/E' (25deg)≤0.500, and also, E' (25deg)≥500 MPa are satisfied.
