<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover that chart paper is fed in a state of being overlapped. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Strip-shaped marks 121A and 121B are alternately placed, beforehand, on the opposite side parts between mountain folds of the chart paper 120. When the paper is fed in a normal manner, the marks 121A and 121B are observed on the different sides of the chart paper 120, on the sides opposite to the mountain fold as the boundary; and when piling occurs, the marks 121A and 121B are observed on the same side above and below the mountain fold.
