<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular film excellent in optical transparency, heat resistance, mechanical strength, and molding processability as well. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The tubular film is made from an aromatic polyether resin. In the film, the total light transmittance determined by the JIS K7105 transparency test is 90% or higher, or the light transmittance with 400 nm wavelength light is 85% or higher, in the case of 50±10 μm of a thickness. It is preferable that the aromatic polyether resin is soluble in a non-amide and non-halogen organic solvent with a boiling point of 70-150°C; besides, it is preferable that the glass transition temperature of the aromatic polyether resin determined by DSC (at the rate of temperature rise of 20°C/min) is 160°C or higher.
