<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weighing device of an elevator determining whether or not the elevator will be overloaded by measuring the weight of cargo to be loaded on an elevating body of the elevator during loading. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The weighing device 10 of the elevator 1 includes a sill 11, a bracket 12, a cushion member 13, and a measuring instrument 14. The sill 11 is disposed in a lower part of an entrance 20 of the elevator 10 communicating a delivery hall 7 and the elevating body 5 to be crossed by a cart P to be delivered. The bracket 12 supports the sill 11. The cushion member 13 is inserted between the sill 11 and the bracket 12, and a modulus of longitudinal elasticity is constant when it is flattened by a load applied to the sill 11.
