<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a training apparatus capable of securing safety of a user and letting the user perform training at any places. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A pair of grip parts 23 to be held by the user is connected to the body 21 of the training apparatus 11 via an elastic body 22. Further, a position measuring part 24 for measuring the inclination amount of the grip 23 to the body 21 is provided inside the grip 23. When the user applies power to the grip 23, the elastic body 22 is deformed, the grip 23 is inclined, and the training apparatus 11 calculates the actual muscular strength of the user from the inclination amount measured by the position measuring part 24 and displays the calculated actual muscular strength and muscular strength to be a target for the user at a display part 26. The user can safely perform the training while looking at the muscular strength to be the target and the actual muscular strength of himself/herself.
