<p>The membrane (1) has a barrier layer (2) e.g. thermoplastic layer such as polyethylene layer, and a composite layer (3) arranged at a side of the barrier layer. A sealant (4) e.g. thermoplastic resin or thermoplastic elastomer, is arranged between the composite layer and the barrier layer in a discontinuous manner. The sealant is selected from a group consisting of acrylate compound, polyurethane polymer, silane- terminated polymer, polyolefin, pressure sensitive adhesive and hot melt adhesive. An independent claim is also included for a method for sealing a substrate.</p> |
