Touchscreen for electronic device

A portable electronic device includes a housing; a touch-screen display within the housing, the touch-screen display including a switch disposed between the touchscreen display and the housing. When actuated the switch provides tactile feedback and generates a signal that is provided to a processor. The processor is operatively connected to the touchscreen display and the switch. The touchscreen being moveable and configured to pivot to actuate the switch in response to application of a force on the touchscreen display.
