Subject: folding awning operating with multiple counterweights for shading and sheltering purposes. Constitution: an opening and closure system constituted of a multi-wedged shaft 23 which, having inside a built-in motor, is designed to transfer themotion -through the toothed belt 16- to the counterweight 3; a canopy-raising and -lowering mechanism 4 stretching and folding the canopy in the form of plies, and counterweights 3, 8, 5 being moving onto the upper part of the guides 2. With regard to the clockwise or anticlockwise motion supplied by the motor, the counterweight 3 entrains -via the canopy-raising mechanism 4- the little counterweights 8 and so the canopy to the opened or closed condition. |
