<p>The valve (1) has a pipe shaped housing (2) in which valve seat rings (14,26) are arranged in an axially movable manner. Locking units are assigned to the valve seat rings to lock the valve seat rings in a predetermined position. A valve seal element (39) is provided which is movable on the valve seat rings to seal or to adjust or to release the valve seat rings. A positioning device is provided for adjusting the position of the valve seal element. An independent claim is included for a method for releasing or blocking a fluid flow with a valve.</p> |
