A method for setting molding condition waveforms as set points and a polygonal line between them while drawing on a display device the waveforms input from a coordinate input device on the display device. When a drawing mode is selected, steps including a step for sequentially reading and storing coordinate points drawn and input successively by an operator, while updating them; a step in which a direct distance between the latest coordinate point and the last set point in an already set data table is sequentially calculated; a step in which the coordinate point is stored as the next set point in the data table when the current direct distance reaches a predetermined distance; and a step in which one set line linearly connecting between the adjacent set points is displayed, are repeated until the input operation of the operator is completed. Thus, the molding condition waveform is set as a polygonal line consisting of the plurality of set lines. Further, when an edition mode is selected, the molding condition waveform which is created can be edited. |
