MANUFACTURING METHOD AND AN OVAL STEEL REINFORCEMENT CAGE

PURPOSE: An ellipse steel cage which secures and high flexural strength in the earthquake-proof of a bridge post and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to evenly give influence the intensity of the steel cage and to minimize the amount of administration of the steel reinforcement and manufacturing speed of cage. CONSTITUTION: A vertical reinforcement wire(300) is arranged in a spiral reinforcement(200) of the fixed length at a regular interval. The vertical iron reinforcing rod is not arranged in a part of the spiral reinforcement. Two spiral reinforcements are overlapped in order to welded or tied at the contact surface with the vertical reinforcement wire.
