<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device holding device for improving an efficiency of surgery. <P>SOLUTION: The medical device holding device 2 includes an arm part 4 which is formed by mutually connecting a plurality of arms and is switched between a fixed state in which the plurality of arms are relatively fixed and a canceled state of the fixing in which the plurality of arms are relatively movable, a gripping part 16 provided on the arm part 4, and a rotary holder 94 which is rotatably provided on the gripping part 16 to the gripping part 16 and holds medical device 22. The gripping part 16 has a switching operational means 18 for operating to switch the state of the arm part 4.
