<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a brush material of a polishing brush from being bent to be broken and worn in an early stage, and prevent unsatisfactory rice polishing from occurring by polishing polished rice using only the tip end of the polishing brush in a dry wash-free rice manufacturing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In this dry wash-free rice manufacturing apparatus including the annular polishing brush 7 rotationally driven and a rice bran removal wire mesh 15 oppositely placed concentrically with the polishing brush at a predetermined interval and polishing the polished rice W fed to the interval by the polishing brush 7, a protection cover body 20 having a smaller diameter than that of the tip end circle of the polishing brush is concentrically provided so as to expose the tip end part of the polishing brush from the protection cover body at the side face on the polished rice feed side, and the polished rice discharge side of the polishing brush 7 is prevented from bending, and also, the part other than the tip end part is prevented from getting in contact with the polished rice. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
