<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device, putting up a memo in a form according to a user's taste on a standard screen of a cellular phone and easily confirming an image displayed on the standard screen. <P>SOLUTION: This communication device includes an operation part 15, a display part 14 displaying the standard screen (the so-called waiting screen) and having a power saving mode, and a control circuit 17 displaying a data display area corresponding to a text data selected by a user in parallel and controlling to display a corresponding text data when one is selected, wherein when no-operation state continues for a predetermined time, when the data display area is not displayed on the standard screen, the display part 14 is switched to the state of displaying the data display area on the standard screen without transition to the power saving mode, so that the presence of a memo can be surely confirmed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
